The last version before going gold!


It is legit exciting to be this close to releasing a full version. This is the last release to add new features to the code, so I can focus on maps for the v1.0.

Nonetheless, this one brings a major update in allowing bots to be used in online multiplayer - the game no longer desyncs. Sadly, I was unable to address the tendency of AI to get stuck on pillars in some maps - pathfinding is okay, but the AI agents can get into a sort of blind rage when hunting other players and they simply stuck themselves.

Another change is with yet another new map (FFA-oriented this time around) called "Neighborhood". I wanted to create a suburbs-esque map placed in the middle of crossroads. It pushes the engine to its limit in one fun aspect - play it for yourself to discover it!

  • Edit metadata dialog correctly displays current metadata and correctly changes them
  • Game setup lobby correctly shows and sets game mode

    • This bug was caused by the previous release
